Yesterday was the first day in as long as I can remember that I didn't have to wake up to the alarm clock and get my butt out of bed before sunrise. Yes, I still had to work, but it was a nice feeling! Today it was back to the annoying beeping machine. I don't work until 1pm, but I had to get up and get the kids ready for school. I could've slept in and "made" Jeff get the boys off to school, but I didn't. With his performance in that area as of late I would just rather do it myself. I'm glad I did. I had to dress Joshua as if he was a baby LOL! I do that often, but dh would rather argue with Josh instead. Josh has been out the door for 55 minutes and Jeff is now waiting for the bus with Jeremy. I've already started a load of laundry and fed the baby.
It was so funny this morning Justine looked at me and said something I totally could NOT understand. It was in sentence forom and started with "Ma ...". Funny thing is I knew EXACTLY what she wanted. Now what she babbled sounded NOTHING like what she wanted, but I know for sure it's what she said! LOL! She told me to put her in her chair (exersaucer). She wanted in there because she sits there every morning eats dry Cheerios, has a glass of milk, and watches Arthur and/or Jay Jay the Jet Plane. It was so cute. She walked over to me, babbled "Ma ...", and turned around towards her chair. I'm glad I knew what she wanted, because I know all too well that sometimes at this age communication can get a little frustrating for both of us ;o) We continue to practice words with her. It's strange to think that by this age Jeremy was talking in short, 3 or 4 word sentences. Maybe there is some merit to what they say about first born children being more "adult like" because that's what they are around. KWIM?
Gee! Who's babbling now? LMAO!
Today is my LAST day of work, then I have EIGHT days off. Count them, 1 -2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 !! YAY!
